About Project
AIPALync was initiated by the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia during Cambodia’s AIPA presidency in 2022. This project is designed to systematically store data and share knowledge relating to rules and regulations of the ASEAN and its Member States, with the aim to create a cohesive and accessible legal framework and to promote legislative transparency and harmonization of laws within ASEAN.
More than just a library, AIPALync serves as a regional policy monitoring platform that encompasses three tiers of legal documents:
- ASEAN Instruments
- AIPA Resolutions
- and National Legislations
This approach adheres to the principles of open government, enabling regional oversight and fostering an ASEAN that is people-centered and people-oriented.
Who is The Client
AIPA stands for ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. It serves as the center of communication and information among Member Parliaments of Southeast Asian countries. AIPA aims to encourage understanding, cooperation, and close relations among Member Parliaments as well as Observer Member Parliaments and other parliamentary organizations.
