About Project
The Nusantara Fishermen's Radio (RANN) is a communication device specifically designed to support the activities of small-scale fishermen in Indonesia. In addition to providing voice communication, RANN features real-time location sharing and an emergency signal (SOS), allowing fishermen to send their position and request assistance in case of an emergency at sea.
To enhance the effectiveness of this system, Codenesia has developed a monitoring dashboard that enables onshore personnel to track the position of fishing boats and receive emergency signals in real-time. The location and SOS data sent by fishermen through the radio device are automatically synchronized with this dashboard, allowing authorities to respond quickly in emergency situations. With this monitoring system in place, the safety of fishermen at sea can be better maintained, and rescue coordination can be carried out more efficiently.
